An HR specialist, I began my career in recruitment and human resources consulting more than twenty years ago. With a broad-based background and proven experience in human resource services, my professional history includes assisting clients from student level to senior executives, across all careers and business sectors – including a fair number of Top Ten Consulting firms, FTSE 100 organisations, major banks, high street retailers - through to SMEs and the public sector.
One of my favourite activities is contributing career articles and CV Resume assessments to careers magazines and leading national newspapers, including The Guardian 'CV Clinic' and Daily Mail.
I focused my MBA on Strategic Human Resource Management and, and my dissertation was entitled, "An assessment of the extent to which Outplacement Consultants meet the needs of those people managing or experiencing redundancy." The knowledge gained has since enabled me to assist thousands of people to move into more rewarding, fulfilling careers.
The key to A Perfect Career´s success – 86% of business is from existing clients and recommendations - is the ability to provide a complete careers service, covering making the best career choices through to ongoing help with job problems.
An aspect of my role I especially enjoy is writing CVs and Resumes with rich, informative, well pitched, relevant and targeted content - with plenty of creativity in the page design.
